Oxford Saïd Global Climate Tech Challenge 2026

A premier global competition inviting high school student teams and educators to harness technology, creativity, and problem-solving to design bold solutions for the climate crisis.
Eligibility: Open worldwide to high school students (Grades 9–12) aged 15–18 entering in teams of 3 to 5 members. Entries require a maximum 10-slide PowerPoint presentation (saved as a PDF under 10MB) and a 3-minute presentation video tackling one of 5 key pillars: Air Pollution, Extreme Weather, Food Security, Biodiversity, or Water Scarcity. (There is also a separate track for individual teachers to submit lesson plans).
Cost: It is completely free to register and submit a project. For selected finalists, all global travel and accommodation costs to attend the finals in Oxford are fully covered.
Benefits: The winning student team receives a full all-expenses-paid scholarship to attend the Future Climate Innovators Summer School 2027 at Oxford. All global finalists receive a fully-funded trip to Oxford to present their work at the August 2026 finals, and approved entrants receive certificates of participation.
