NYAS The Junior Academy

A virtual, project-based learning program where students form international teams to solve real-world Innovation Challenges under the guidance of STEM mentors.
Eligibility: Open worldwide to students aged 13–17 with a strong passion for STEM and English proficiency. Parental or guardian consent is required.
Cost: The program is completely free of charge for participating students. No purchase or payment of any kind is required
Benefits: Students who complete a challenge receive a certificate of completion and a complimentary Young Membership to The New York Academy of Sciences. One winning team and two finalist teams from each challenge receive educational prizes and present at the Virtual Student Symposia.
Location: Online
Duration: 10-week innovation challenges (requires 3 to 4 hours each week during challenge periods)
